Elections will be held in May for vice-president, treasurer, sgt.-at-arms, parliamentarian and one trustee.
Nominated at the February meeting were Sue Whitney for Treasurer and Kay Danen for Trustee. The club still needs candidates for vice-president, sgt.-at-arms and parliamentarian.
If you would like to serve in any of these positions, please nominate yourself or nominate a person you think will do well in a club leadership position. New ideas are always welcome and your participation is appreciated.
Kay Danen and Mary Morgan will be co-chairs. Volunteers are needed. Call Kay or Mary to volunteer and to offer ideas on what can be done with the booth. The booth will not sell anything, but will promote the Shamrock club, Irish Culture and Ireland in general. Over 60,000 people are expected to attend.
The Shamrock Club Library is located at Trulley's Irish Gifts, 124 N. Broadway (2nd floor), DePere ((920) 330-0103). Please visit the library and browse through and borrow from the large collection of books, tapes and magazines.
